Scope and Contents
The collection consists of approximately one linear foot of materials accumulated by Robert Turner. The materials include books; Defense Language Institute coursebooks; diagrams; clippings; correspondence; images and photographs; and maps. Subjects include the French military in Indochina and the fall of Saigon. Items of note include research material used for the production design of the Oliver Stone film Heaven and Earth. The materials are dated 1930, 1954, 1962-1971, 1975-1977, 1982-1985, and 1990-1992.- 2
