Scope and Contents
The collection consists of half a linear foot of three volumes of United States Assistance to South Vietnam, 1954-1975 documenting the major economic assistance activities undertaken by the United States Agency for International Development and its predecessors during the extended period of U.S. involvement in South Vietnam. The volumes were prepared by the Asia Bureau, Office of Residual Indochina Affairs, Viet-Nam Desk and are dated 31 December 1975. Volumes I & II include a summary of materials, while Volume III contains a Bibliography of Official Documents accumulated by the Agency over a period of more than 20 years.
