The collection consists of less than a quarter of a linear foot of materials documenting an enemy encounter experienced by Alpha Company, 3rd Platoon, 1st Amphibious Tractor Battalion near My Loc on the Cua Viet River on January 20, 1968. The materials include personal recollections from Lance Corporal Robert D. Cook and Lance Corporal Robert Don Brame, as well as a recording of the official inquiry of the event. The materials are dated 1968 or are otherwise undated.
Biographical / Historical
Lance Corporal Robert Don Brame was born in Loraine, Texas in 1949. He volunteered for the United States Marine Corps and served for 4 years. He spent 2 years (1967-1968) in Southeast Asia.
