Scope and Contents
The collection consists of photographs and slides documenting John F. Pilling, Jr.'s U.S. Army service with the 7th Psyops Battalion from November 1967 to November 1968. The images primarily document the area between Chu Lai and the DMZ. Many of them are aerial shots taken from a Cessna O2-B while making loud speaker broadcasts or from a FAC plane while locating targets. Other subjects include Saigon, Danang, and areas where Pilling's teams were operating.
