Scope and Contents
The collection consists of approximately half of a linear foot of materials documenting Colonel Thomas G. Daniel's USAF service as a thoracic and vascular surgeon and Chief of Surgery at the 483rd USAF Hospital at Cam Ranh Bay from February 1971 to December 1972. The materials include photographs; records re: a USAF Inspector General investigation of hospital commander Colonel J. Lewis Smith; and letters home. The materials are dated 1970-1977.
