The collection consists of approximately 2 linear feet of materials documenting Sergeant Michael Smith's U.S. Army service with Delta Company, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment (Manchu), 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. The materials include daily staff journals; photographs; periodicals; bulletins, flyers, and pamphlets; articles and clippings; directories; immunization certificates; greeting cards; yearbooks; correspondence; books; moving images; audio; notes; newsletters; and artifacts.
