Scope and Contents

This is the Công Báo Việt Nam Cộng Hòa collection in its earlier years when the publication was printed in Vietnamese with French translation at the back of each of the individual issues. The date range is 1948-1949.

The Công Báo is the official gazette published regularly for all legislative activity undertaken by the Vietnamese government, including public notices, department decisions and activities, departmentvand international communication as well as election results, military awards, general information, and announcements.

Earlier editions contain decrees and acts passed by the Bao Dai of Viet Nam.
