The collection consists of slides documenting 1st Sergeant Warden Call's USMC service in Vietnam.
Biographical / Historical
1st Sergeant Warden P.B. Call was born in 1929 in Milwaukee, WI. He volunteered for the USMC ca. 1944 and served for 26 years. He served as an infantryman and completed 2 tours of Vietnam. He served at various stations including Camp Lejeune and Camp Pendleton, as well as embassy duty in London, UK during the early 1950s. He received the Purple Heart. He retired from active duty in 1970 at the rank of 1st Sergeant. After his military service, he worked for the United States Postal Service and a grocery business.
