The collection consists of approximately 0.75 linear feet of materials documenting Captain Richard Galloway's U.S. Army service as a Military Payment Certificate Conversion Agent with the Finance Corps 22nd Finance Section (Distribution) of Headquarters, 54th General Support Group. The materials include correspondence and slides. The materials are dated 1969.

Biographical / Historical

Captain Richard E. Galloway was born in 1942 in Akron, OH. He volunteered for the U.S. Army. He served as a Military Payment Certificate Conversion Agent with the Finance Corps 22nd Finance Section (Distribution) of Headquarters, 54th General Support Group stationed at Nha Trang. He was honorably discharged from active duty in 1969. After his military service, he became a CPA and worked for Price Water House in Cleveland and later Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Akron. He died November 7, 1994.
