Scope and Contents
Less than one linear foot of laminated copies of a poem written by Don Durham and twelve copies of the front page of the November 1997 issue of The Veteran's View about the poem documents Durham's perspectives of his service. The poem was etched into a plaque and displayed at the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
Biographical / Historical
Don Durham was born in Lamesa, Texas on March 14, 1937. He wrote inspired words for multiple posters containing the Vietnam Memorial. Durham worked as an oilfield worker and attended the Texas Tech University.
