Scope and Contents
Three folders of documents detail Chuck Barrow's service in the United States Marine Corps with 1st Battalion, 4th Marines and MAG-24, November 1965 - September 1989. All materials are primary sources from this time period and include: Selective Service Registration, training and educational records, original orders and enlistment contracts, and certificates and letters of recognition.
Biographical / Historical
Chuck Barrow of Lubbock, Texas joined the United States Marine Corps in November 1965. He served in Vietnam from 1967 through 1969 with the 1st Battalion, 4th Marines and MAG-24 and was stationed in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), Khe Sanh, and Da Nang. Barrow retired from the Marines in September 1989.
