Notable documents include materials on John Kerrey, a statistics list of POW/MIAs, materials from Presidents Reagan, Bush and Clinton, and portions of the Project CHECO Reports.
Biographical / Historical
Charles Bates was born in Wichita, Kansas and raised in Southern California and Texas. Bates served in the United States Army as part of the 2nd Battalion, 75th Infantry from 1970 to 1974. During this time, he was stationed in Laos, Vietnam, South Korea, and Okinawa, Japan. Bates is a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Bates currently lives in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, where he and his wife, Kathleen, are self-employed antique and collectibles sellers.
