Scope and Contents

Less than one linear foot of newspaper clippings, manuscripts and photocopies of sketches document Paul Cameron's service with 1st Administrative Company, 1st Infantry Division Headquarters, 1969-1970. The manuscripts and newspaper clippings are from the 1990s and the sketches were drawn by Cameron during his tour of duty in Vietnam.

Biographical / Historical

Paul Cameron was inducted into the United States Army in June 1969 and arrived in Vietnam on November 19, 1969. He was assigned to the 1st Administrative Company, 1st Infantry Division Headquarters in Dian. When the Division was redeployed home five months later, Cameron was reassigned to USARV in Saigon. He completed his tour on November 20, 1970, a few months after the birth of his son.
