Scope and Contents
Two articles written by Nancy Coleman document the experiences of two Vietnam veterans during their service in Vietnam. The first article is from the 12 November 1995 edition of The Sunday Review from Towanda, Pennsylvania and is about Gene Wilber, who flew an F-4 in Vietnam and became a Prisoner-of-War in June 1968 after his F-4 was shot down. The second article is from the 26 May 2002 edition of The Sunday Review and is about Raymond Paul McMahon from Dushore, Pennsylvania and was killed on 4 June 1970 while serving with the United States Army in Vietnam.
Biographical / Historical
Ms. Coleman's article won a first-place award in the feature story category in the Pennsylvania Newspaper Publishers Association Keystone Press Awards.
