Scope and Contents
A scrapbook of collected materials documents Robert Lafoon's service with DASPO. Photographs make up the bulk of the scrapbook, but it also contains printed documents, press passes, newspaper photographs, etc. Published photos by Lafoon are represented in the Garrison newsletter and VFW magazine (May 1966). A book, Images of a Lengthy War, contains photos by Lafoon and other DASPO photographers. For preservation of the materials, the scrapbook has been disassembled, and the items kept in original order in acid-free folders.
