Approximately one linear foot of British documents detail the end of World War II in Indochina and the British occupation of the Northern part of Indochina before the French reasserted their authority over the region. Telegrams, correspondence and minutes from meetings makeup the bulk of the collection, though there are also newspaper clippings and section of war diaries. Topics covered are the surrender of the Japanese forces in the area, as well as the future policies of Great Britain, China, France and the United States toward Indochina. The bulk of the materials are from 1944-1946.- Box 1: [Barcode: 1] [TTU - Southwest Collections Building, Stacks [D045.3C ]]
