Biographical / Historical

Raghuram Narasimhan was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. He earned an engineering degree from the University of Madras, in 1998. In 1999 he moved to the United States to begin a graduate program in electrical engineering at Northern Illinois University. While completing another masters in Systems an Engineering Management at Texas Tech University. Raghu began employment as a research assistant in the Virtual Vietnam Archive. As he learned more about Vietnam, he started collecting articles related to the war, the US military, and the present day economy of Vietnam. He completed his education at Texas Tech in December 2003 and is now employed by the Frito Lay Corporation in Lubbock.
