Scope and Contents
Less than one linear foot of documents and moving images document the service of those units that belonged to the Army Transport Association Vietnam (ATAV), including the 4th Transportation Company (TC), 5th TC, 124th TC, 125th TC, 1st Logistical Command (LOG), United States Army Units Vietnam (USARV), 8th Group, 48th Transportation Group, 500th Transportation Group and the 507th Group. The bulk of the materials are from the post-war era, though there are some original documents from the 1960s.
Biographical / Historical
The Army Transport Unit, Vietnam served 1960-1975. The Army Transport Association Vietnam (ATAV) was formed to bring the veterans of this unit together after the war and is mainly comprised of the drivers of the military vehicles. Individual donations of the members of this organization make up this collection.
