Essay written by Bruce Horton documenting a firefight that took place near the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) in South Vietnam on July 6,1967 and the misconduct of several Marines during the firefight. Biographical / Historical
Bruce Horton served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam with C Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines. Among the operations that Horton participated in was Operation Buffalo.
