Staff Sergeant Hector Robertin walks across Troung Minh Ky Street in front of the DASPO team villa located in Gia Dinh, a suburb of Saigon. Our address was 263 Troung Minh Ky. The villia served as our office and living quarters. The first floor housed office space for the N.C.O.I.C., living quarters for the team officer in charge, a dining room, and a kitchen. The 2nd floor served as office space/film viewing room and sleeping quarters. The 3rd floor housed sleeping quarters for enlisted men and a separate sleeping area for the team N.C.O.I.C.

Gainesville Eight Trial August 1973 Gainesville, Fla. L-R Gainesville 8 defendants Scott Camil, Donald Perdue and Alton Foss joke in front of the federal building in Gainesville, Fla. Camil, Perdue, Foss, along with 5 other Vietnam veterans were on trial for plottin to violently disrupt the 1972 Republican National Convention in Miami Beach. Gainesville Eight Trial August 1973 Gainesville, Fla. Members of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) engage in a bit of media theater outside the Gainesville Sun Newspaper offices. Hundreds of Vietnam veterans and sympathizers converged on the small college town of Gainesville, Florida to show their support for 7 Vietnam vets and 1 civilian supporter who were on trial by the U.S. government for allegdly plotting to violently disrupt the 1972 Republican National Convention in Miami Beach. Dedication of Tomb of unknown soldier Vietnam May 26, 1984 Arlington National Cemetary Vietnam Vets give their respects at the burial of the unknown soldier from the Vietnam War. In 1998 D.N.A. tests showed the remains belonged to U.S. Air Force 1 Lt. Michael J. Blassie. On July 11, 1998 Blassie's remains were re-buried in his hometown, St. Louis, Missouri. Earlier in the year President Richard Nixon had announced the beginning of withdrawal of U.S. Forces from South Vietnam. Airborne Headquarters Force battled elements of the 104th BN, 762nd Reg and 9th NVA/VC Div. during a campaign later called the Post-Tet Offensive.
