Vietnamese maid hanging laundry between BOQ buildings, 91st Evacuation Hospital. The maids washed our clothes in discarded foam boxes in our shower. When the male officers showered in the morning, hte maids refused to leave while they were washing our clothes. We might have wanted privacy; however, we either showered with them present or had to wait until later.

Dawn 28 Oct 1970, Seattle-Tacoma Airport, back in the world at last. I returned to the United States in jungle fatigues as did the other soldiers. At the Seattle airport I changed into civilian clothes that were wet from heavy rains in Cam Ranh Bay. It cost more to fly in civies but it was worth it just getting out of thsoe damn jungle fatigues.
