In early May 1970, I returned from R&R in Hong Kong. I was in Hong Kong during the Cambodian invasion and was worried that R&R would be cut short because of the military situation in vietnam. The photographs of the medics and Lt. Sauder were taken during a party at the battalion aid station; I think this was a farewell party for me before being transferred to 91st Evacuation Hospital, Chu Lai. Soldiers waiting at airport, DaNang or Quang Tri. Probably taken on return from R&R in Hong Kong.
