Great Britain: "That Woman" Versus the Chattering Classes by Geoffrey Wheatcroft
The POW/MIA Myth by H. Bruce Franklin - Every year the United States government officially declares that it is operating "on the assumption that at least some Americans are held captive" in the jungles of Southeast Asia - prisoners since the days of the Vietnam War. Polls suggest that most Americans also believe that POWs are still being held. And Hollywood has powerfully reinforced this belief. But a careful review of the evidence, the author contends, shows that it is groundless - a myth created and exploited for political reasons.
