The collection consists of slides documenting R. Michael Pearce's experience as a Rand Corporation defense analyst conducting research as a member of the Research and Development Field Unit of the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) in Duc Lap, Hau Nghia Province from 1964 to 1967. The images were to accompany his research memorandum Evolution of a Vietnamese Village, which was prepared in response to a request from the Commander of MACV to study the evolution of a rural village as it passed from insurgent control through pacification to government control. The images document Pearce's travels across Vietnam (including Duc Lap, Saigon, and the Central Highlands), official events featuring U.S. Ambassador Maxwell D. Taylor, the U.S. Embassy building, and a Viet Cong car bombing in front of the embassy in March 1965.

Less than a quarter of a linear foot of a coin and a DVD. The DVD was produced by Patty Clifford for the members of the 377 Security Police Squadron who served at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam and who attended the reunion in 2014. The DVD captures pictures of those who were at the reunion and served with the 377 SPS from 1963, then known as the 6250 Air Police. The pictures include Bunker 051, which was heavily hit during the Tet Offensive, as well as Nemo the K-9, Dr. Raymond Huston who saved him, the city of Saigon, heavy weapons that became part of the Air Force Security Police Forces, Colonel Billy Jack Carter, Commander 377 SPS, and some of them men who received Bronze/Silver Stars for action during Tet. Patty's husband Tim served in the 377 Security Police Force.

The material includes a debrief and sketches and 2nd platoon's actions, a diagram of Lieutenant Joe Maram's actions, a write up of B company's actions used for General Hal Moore and Joe Galloway's book 'We Were Soldiers Once and Young,' his comments on the book, a write up in support of the Medal of Honor for Captain Ed Freeman, a 16 September, 1991 letter to Lieutenant Colonel Grant McCombs regarding the actions of Lieutenant Hank Herrick, the platoon leader of 2nd Platoon who was killed in that action, a 31 October, 2002 letter in support of Lieutenant General Hal Moore's nomination as a Distinguished Graduate Award at West Point, answers to Colonel H.R. McMaster's questions concerning Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore's leadership qualities, and the after action report of the Ia Drang Valley Operation, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry on 14 - 17 November, 1965.
