During this time, she corresponded with Randy Nelson, an airman from Ohio. The materials include items that Delaney received from Nelson (a Christmas card, Vietnamese currency, and photographs), as well as materials pertaining to Delaney's efforts to support the troops and her letter writing campaign (correspondence with General William Westmoreland and news clippings).
