Living in The Shadow of The VA by William Triplett - The VA's home-loan program is supposed to help veterans become homeowners. But those who have fallen on hard economic times come up against an entrenched bureaucracy that would rather use foreclosure as the option of first resort. Bill Triplett investigates.

When Jane Comes Marching Home - Women and the Vietnam Experience by Linda Spoonster Schwartz - Most people don't realize that between 1964 and 1975, more than 265,000 women served in the military. From nurses to Donut Dollies, flight line mechanics to finance specialists, civil relief workers to interpreters, women served in many capacities during Vietnam.
