A series of correspondences are taken from a case on Lyman Rundlett, who was hired in July, 1957 by the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group for the acquisition, approval, and instillation of equipment for the Saigon police department. These correspondences document the problem of missing equipment at the department. They discuss the costs of the equipment, what is missing, and eventually Rundlett himself replies to explain the situation.
