A piece is written by Doctors Bill Ross, anthropologist, and Floyd Reeves, advisor to MSU President John Hannah, upon their visit and tour of MSUG operations in Vietnam. They discuss general topics such as their arrival and greeting, the organization of personnel, sections, and the delegation of responsibilities within MSUG, as well as tours of MSU facilities and dinner events with MSU hosts. Their tone concerning their crowded schedule and what they observe is somewhat critical. They go on to discuss issues relating to the Montagnards and what political progress has been made in the areas of land reform, education, and refugee resettlement. Ross and Reeves make a heavily-guarded trip to some of the rural areas around Dalat and give their impressions of village households and lifestyles.

Almost a year after its publication, a collection of press clippings from throughout February, 1967 document the public's continuing response to the publication of Ramparts magazine's article, "The University on the Make: How MSU helped arm Madame Nhu." The article was a 12-page illustrated release which, "...attacks the University's 7-year involvement in a technical assistance program in Viet Nam, from 1955-62." The collection of press clippings both attack and defend the claim by the Ramparts article that the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group was a front for the Central Intelligence Agency to work in Vietnam. There is continuing discussion of interactions between the CIA and the National Student Association.
