Less than one linear foot of original paintings on canvas, CD-Rom of images of Helen White paintings, and a book of paintings by Helen White, a nurse who served in Vietnam. She also suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of her experiences. Painting is part of her therapy. White produced this painting in 2001. Metzler purchased the painting and book at an auction. The book is numbered 198 of 1000 and is signed by the author.

Approximately eleven linear feet of 164 three-quarter inch U-Matic video tapes of the television program, entitled 'Veterans Issues and Answers', documents an array of veteran's issues. The videos are placed in the order in which they aired, October 27, 1991 through May 31, 1999, and include titles such as 'N.J. Vietnam Veterans Memorial', 'N.J. Agent Orange Commission', 'National League of Families for POW/MIA's', 'Dedication of the Vietnam Women's Memorial', 'Agent Orange- The Silent Killer', 'Suing the CIA - The Abandonment of American POWs', and 'Men of the Intrepid'. The tapes are in poor condition and will be digitized to help for preservation.

Periodicals and newspaper clippings are from 2004-2005 and cover the Zumwalt's in the press. The correspondence section contains letters of condolence about the death of Mrs. Mouza Coutelais-du-Roché Zumwalt in August 2005. Documents of note in this collection include a letter to Mouza Zumwalt from former President George Bush, dated 21 December 2004. This collection also includes an article from the October 17, 2013 Thoi Bao newspaper written in Vietnamese about the USS Zumwalt DDG-10000, Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, and Admiral Tran Van Chon.

Less than one linear foot of artifacts, Sim's manuscript and published book edition of ^D<'Ambush: Memories and Photos of a Combat Squad Leader^D>', twelve photographs, correspondence and photocopied North Vietnamese propaganda leaflets document Allen W. Sims service during the Vietnam Conflict, 1969-1970. The photocopied leaflets are from a portion of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kiev, Ukraine which documents Ukraine's involvement in the Vietnam Conflict. An English translation of the leaflets is also included and was translated by Suong Ives, who escaped from Vietnam after the Communist takeover and has lived in the United States for over 25 years.

The collection consists of approximately two linear feet of materials consisting of documents, photographs, videos, and books accumulated by John Sciascia. In 1965 he served with M Company 3rd Battalion 4th Marines in Hue, Phu Bai, and Danang, in 1966 with A Company 1st Battalion 7th Marines in Chu Lai. In 1967-1968 Sciascia served with the Sentry/Scout Dogs in Danang, which was a 30-day assignment throughout I Corps.

The bulk of the materials relate to Sciascia and his fellow Vietnam War dog handlers and include Vietnam Dog Handler Association newsletters and articles concerning the dedication of a War Dog Memorial; calling cards; memorial service programs; pamphlets; correspondence; and clippings. The materials are dated 1994-2017.

A book containing brief biographies of the 612 men from Connecticut that were killed in Vietnam compiled by Thomas Dzicek's students at Captain Nathan Hale Middle School in Coventry, Connecticut, and six copies of Vietnam War lesson plans and activities for middle school students document Thomas Dzicek's 612 Project. In the 612 Project his students interviewed the families and friends of all 612 Connecticut men killed in Vietnam. The interviews and research subsequently led to the published biographies of the men from Connecticut killed in Vietnam and the Heroes of Vietnam lesson and activities plans. The Weiner Nusim Foundation, acting with the permission of Thomas Dzicek, published both.

10 reel-to-reel audio tapes contain the audio diary of an unknown American soldier in Vietnam. Notes on the tape boxes indicate they were made in 1971. There is also a typed index with brief notes on the contents/location for each tape. This collection also includes one 8mm film of a family at First Communion (no date and no audio).

[NOTE: These items were obtained by Mr. Kemink when he purchased a Sony TC530 reel-to-reel recorder/player at a thrift store in New Braunfels, Texas, and these audio tapes, tape index and 8mm film came with it. According to the index the soldier was based at Marble Mountain/DaNang, but his name is not on the tape cases or index and remains unknown.]
