The documents include Operations Reports - Lessons Learned from the following units: 3rd Brigade 1st Cavalry, 23rd Artillery Group, Headquarters II Field Force Vietnam, Headquarters II Field Force Vietnam Artillery, 31st Engineer Battalion, 2nd Battalion 35th Artillery, 2nd Battalion 32nd Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division. There are also Daily Staff Journals from the 1st Battalion 12th Cavalry September - October, 1971, 2nd Battalion 32nd Artillery March 25 - April 5, 1971, and the 1st Battalion 12th Cavalry September 1971. Also included are the senior officer debriefing reports for the 3rd Regional Assistance Command for Major General Jack J. Wagstaff and Major General Marshall B. Garth, Province Reports from Advisory Team 90 in Tay Ninh Province, the After Action Report from Operation Katum, and a history of the 273rd VC Regiment. The documents date from 1970 through 1973.

The collection consists of approximately one linear foot of photographs and correspondence written by Vuong Sang and donated by his son Minh Vuong. Vuong Sang left Vietnam in 1974 and lived in the United States for 25 years. During his time in the US, he wrote letters to his friends and family still living in Vietnam after the fall of Saigon. The letters tell about life in South Vietnam under the new communist government. Photographs of Sang's family and friends are included with some of the letters. The letters are in Vietnamese and they are dated from 1977 through 1997 with the bulk dates being in the 1980's. The collection also contains a manuscript written by Minh Vuong titled 'Classmates in Times of War'. The manuscript contains an English translation and interpretation of some of the letters as well as Vuong Sang's biography.

Approximately half of a linear foot of documents, photographs, electronic media, a book manuscript, a slide, and an article accumulated by Mike Law from Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Association members including David L. Eastman, John Gurice, Donivan Erhart, Tim Stidham, and Lloyd Newell. The documents include a letter written by Darwin Beauchamp recounting his service in Vietnam as the commander of the 8th Transportation Company (Light Helicopter), 31st Transportation Company (Light Helicopter), and 57th Transportation Company (Light Helicopter) in 1962 to 1963. The documents in the collection also include photocopies of photographs collected by John Foley, who was the Public Information Officer for the 57th Transportation Company and the 120th Aviation Company. The photographs show Piaseck H-21 helicopters in action to include crew, armaments, medical evacuation missions, ARVN and US troops in action, aerial photographs, and photographs of a pet tiger.

The collection consists of two DVDs containing digitized film footage originally captured by Larry Fann with a Brownie Super 8mm camera during his military service. The first DVD contains three film clips. The first film is of rotary wing Warrant Officer Candidate and Flight Training for WOC Class 69-25 of which Fann was a member. The film covers Pre-flight, Phase I, and Phase II training at Fort Wolters, TX between November 1968 and April 1969. The second film covers Phase III and Phase IV training and graduation for WOC Class 69-25 at Fort Rucker, AL between April 1969 and August 26, 1969. The third film covers Fann's CH-47 (Chinook) Transition training, Class 70-6, which Fann attended as a WO-1 between September 1969 and October 1969.

The second DVD contains a film clip consisting of footage from Fann's time in Vietnam with the 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company, call sign Hillclimbers, from November 1969 to May 1971.

Approximately a quarter of a linear foot of correspondence from Frederick Leaworth Barbour to Kathryn S. McDorman. Frederick was the in the Special Forces in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. In his letters he shared his experiences in Vietnam, describing what it was like to be an officer in the special forces, battles that he witnessed, and what it was like to loose friends and soldiers in combat. He also shared his political views and a lot of information on the special forces and how they operated. The collection also contains 14 color slides.

The collection consists of approximately 3.5 linear feet of materials documenting the history of Navy Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Seven (HC-7) accumulated by HC-7 historian Ronald Milam. The materials include award citations; command reports; muster rolls; rescue logs and reports; damage reports; images; photocopies of newsletters and newspapers; narratives; articles; presentations; and manuals. The materials are dated predominately 1967-1975.

The collection also includes one thumb drive containing the history of the HC-7 Seadevils. HC-7 was established on September 1, 1967, and disestablished June 30, 1975. 1732 men and two women served as Seadevils during that time. The squadron's operations included Combat Search and Rescue in North Vietnam, Seventh Fleet helicopters, Vertical Replenishment via helicopters, Aerial Mine Countermeasures, and providing helicopter support for the 1968 and 1969 North Korean incidents. HC-7 provided support while based at Atsugi, Japan, Cubi Point, the Philippine Islands, and Imperial Beach California. They were nicknamed the Orphans of the Seventh Fleet, due to their constant movement from ship to ship. The thumb drive includes 13,000 documents and over 1,500 photos.

One copper bell. The bell hung in the main barroom of the Danang Officers Open Mess (DOOM) at Danang Air Base in Vietnam from ca. 1966 to the summer of 1968 when it was given to Lieutenant Colonel McCarthy. The DOOM bell was rung by anyone who observed a newly arriving patron entering the bar with a hat on his head. The patron was then obligated to buy those present a drink of their choice. This was in keeping with the military tradition of removing one's hat while indoors.

One binder of photocopies of a scrapbook of Frankie Michulka's life and experiences in Vietnam assembled by his fiancee Christine Owen. Michulka was killed-in-action in Vietnam on December 20th, 1967 while serving with the US Army 25th Infantry Division. The scrapbook includes numerous articles about Michulka, pages from his high school yearbook and his high school diploma, Christine's memories of Frankie, pictures, and letters, as well as images of medals Michulka was awarded posthumously.

Also included is an original document from the President of Vietnam in English and Vietnamese formalizing the posthumous award of the Military Merit Medal of numerous US Army personnel, including Frank Michulka (to include the Gallantry Cross with Palm). The collection also includes a 2012 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) calendar which featrues Christine's memory of Frankie and his picture.
